How long has Helton been in business?
Helton was founded in 1981 by Gerhard Rauch and Henry Neels. Both owners are still active in guiding the business. Helton has strong and experienced management and staff providing long term consistency of service and reliability. The owners have consistently re-invested in Helton, making Helton one of the strongest and most capable suppliers in our industry.
Where is Helton located?
Helton is located near Abbotsford, BC, in Canada (2 hours north of Seattle, WA.) We have one manufacturing location where all products are produced and shipped from. This facility is two miles north of the US border for easy shipping to US destinations.
Where does Helton ship to?
Helton delivers product to destinations across North America. Most of our shipments are to US customers in the West and Mid-West. We have well established weekly freight routes to most areas in the West and Mid West.
Does Helton have its own trucks?
No. Helton uses locally based 3rd party trucking companies to haul our shipments. Some of these companies haul exclusively for Helton, and therefore they know our freight routes and customers. Helton often receives positive comments from customers about the reliability and politeness of our freight carriers. Also, Helton ships on flat deck or curtain-side trucks for easy forklift unloading.
What engineering or tooling capabilities does Helton have?
Helton has full service Engineering, Tool & Die, and Machining services. All design work is done using Solid Works 3D modeling by in-house engineers. Our Tool & Die facility takes care of tooling maintenance and new tooling designs. We also have in-house machinery fabrication, PLC development, and maintenance staff capable of handling even the most complex projects.
Does Helton manufacture Commercial Track and Components?
Yes. Helton manufactures a full line of Commercial Hardware in 2” and 3” track systems including Reverse Angle, High-Lift Track, Commercial Springs, Commercial Low Headroom track, and Commercial Hardware kits and components. We also supply a full range of commercial accessory products like jack shaft and trolley operators, truck door parts, and underground parking gates and parts.
What kind of Steel does Helton use?
All Helton steel is prime commercial quality Hot Dipped Galvanized steel. We order directly from various steel mills for excellent cost control, while ensuring first rate quality.
What materials does Helton use for Windows?
All Helton Windows and Decorative Inserts are made with UV stable materials to prevent discoloring and cracking. Our product does not require painting.
Does Helton produce Windows and Decorative Inserts for all door sections?
Helton produces Windows and Inserts for most door sections in North America. We also manufacture custom window sizes and regularly tool up new sizes for existing customer projects. Does Helton manufacture Galvanized and Oil Tempered springs?
Yes. Helton manufactures Galvanized, Oil Tempered, and Coated Oil Tempered springs. We offer springs in diameters from 1-3/4” to 6” and in wire diameters from 0.192” through 0.437”. Springs are available in pre-cut and coned sizes as well as longer spring snakes up to 16 feet long. All equipment is modern CNC controlled, with conveyor heat treating ovens for the most uniform heat treating results. Springs have crisp stencilling and are color coded for easy identification.
Does Helton have a minimum order size?
Helton has no official minimum order size. However we are a manufacturer and sell to OEM’s and established dealers only. We ship full truckloads to some customers every week, while smaller customers that are further away from our freight routes take UPS or FedEx shipments regularly. Many of our customers take advantage of our milk-run style delivery network by ordering weekly shipments to manage their inventories. Larger shipments normally result in more efficient freight costs.

Helton’s standard credit terms for approved customers are Net 30 days. All USA deliveries are billed in US Dollars. US customers send US Dollar checks to our US PO Box to pay invoices.
